mountain biking is an addiction cured only by poverty.
  • 12 0
too bad shipping on those plugs is 10 dollars.
  • 19 1
@Keystonebikes, you can also cure it by establishing a longer relationship with a woman and giving her login to your accounts at online stores so that she has access to your invoices... Never trust a man when he says that latest shipment was the last upgrade to his bike that year - Even on 31st of December. If you recieve a package with your husbands name on it and in it you find a tyre and few tubes - it is a decoy! He got larger shipmemt delivered to his work or friends premises

Haha @deadbeat, that made my week, thanks for that!
  • 2 0
Damn, that's so me!! I tell my wife that crap every time, and I try to believe it myself! It's defiantly an addition.
  • 2 0
waki, i have one of those already. that is also a quick way to poverty too.
  • 1 0
I agree. That's what she says! But it's better than other addictions, and at least I use them, and get plenty of joy from it.
  • 1 0
Helps to get home from work before the wife does... hehehe
  • 3 0
bluebird22 - you have no clue how much joy drugs can give you. They open doors to all inner joys of the universe
  • 41 0
Pinkbike, why don't you guys make MTB jersey's instead of T's and pull overs?
  • 27 1
 They're freeride jerseys...
  • 31 0

  • 9 1

Unless you're running 29" wheels a 27.5" wheel fork will work for 26" wheels.

 That 380 is soooooo tempting.
  • 2 1
If I had a worthy big bike and a need. I don't think a 600$ Kona stinky i rarely ride justifies a sweet fork.
  • 3 0
Can anyone explain me how the hell Marzocchi 380 C2R2 from CRC cost in USA 800$ and the same product in UK costs 750 GBP?
In Poland it costs 1040 EURO!!

1040 EUR
=
1287.9257 USD
WTF?!
  • 1 0
 noticed the same!!!! f*cking sucks!

750 pound is 950 euro.. how they come to 1050?
  • 1 0
Choose Poland as a ur country and check by yourself :/
  • 4 0
VAT is not included in the North American pricing. The Canada/US price will appear to be less than the UK price because the taxes component has been stripped, and is then charged by the country at the time of import.

For the UK, your sales tax or VAT is embedded in the price of items at the point of origin. In NA, all prices are subject to taxes that are additional to the stated price.
  • 2 2
 You are not right.
If I buy something in the Europe I pay only taxes in country where I'm buying.
That means that I should see same price as UK buyers.

I agree that in the USA and Canada you pay taxes there and they depends on which state you are living.
But even VAT in Poland is 23%. Not 61% like in this case.
  • 2 0
Make some an American friend & get em to buy/ship the fork to you.

Problem solved.
  • 11 0
Haha I sound real American with that typo
  • 6 1
If 26 is "dead" why are parts, bikes, etc for 26 so f*cking expensive?
  • 2 0
If its new, there is high demand so $$$$$$
If its old, there is lower demand which translate into higher production costs so $$$$$$.

Those havens are the carbon ones though and they're selling them at the cost of alu rims. They retail for like 2k$+ iirc.
  • 1 0
PLC, they used to, until people realised the hubs were cheap shite. Can't give them away now, not the carbons or the Alus.
  • 1 0
I knew the havoc rims had garbage hubs, wasn't too sure about the havens though.
  • 1 0
The hubs are definitely lower quality but I got a set of aluminum havocs for my trailbike for like $300. They've been fine for over a year now.
  • 3 1
I have to say chain reaction has the worst prices like really a marzoochi fork for 2300 like what the hex hand then they drop the price way down to make it look like their good I would go with jenson any day
  • 5 0
hell ya!!! who doesn't want a 100mm stem these days!!!!
  • 4 0
I will be purchasing these items as gifts.... for other people...
  • 8 0
Yeah, I also tried tricking myself into that few times.
  • 2 0
Okay, cool. When to give you my address?
  • 2 0
you should probably buy parts from your local shops so they can stay in business and you can have a bike that that doesnt work like shit. no shops no service.
  • 3 0
