Ride Guide hits Calgary/Canmore, Alberta Ride Guide hits Calgary/Canmore, Alberta
Last weekend, when the weather was still blue skies and 22+ degrees, Ride Guide moved through Alberta hitting up places like Canmore, Canada Olympic Park and Calgary South. What impressed me the most was the talent available to show off some of the best riding places in the Province. Watch for the Alberta episode, third week in June on Global TV...

Rode hard and sent home happy- KBC part 3 of 3 Rode hard and sent home happy- KBC part 3 of 3
Sunday saw us with a smaller group for Cross Country and a well deserved later start. Sunday’s group of Matty D, Chuck, Mical and Myself all fired on our spandex and hit the trails. I was aboard my new Rocky Mountain ETSX-50 and Mical had her new Trek Top Fuel 110. So we had two new bikes and once again fresh trails. The current trail network is fast middle chain ring intermediate/advanced cruisers. You can link trails for hours for a great work out.

North Shore Pain North Shore Pain
I really hate getting a flat on the trail. I know some of you freaks of nature can change a flat in something stupid like 6 minutes, but it takes me 30 at least, 45 if I’m pissed off. I cheaped out on tires and tubes again so now I’m walking. I REALLY REALLY hate walking. I still have the 1 good ankle so only half of the walk was painfull and unpleasant. I think the trail was called : “Seven K up , after the 5th switch back, on the left hand side, about 25 feet past the big stump!”, or something like that.
