its deffinetly photoshopped. no question about that but like they said its just the fact of kids being out there shredding and why not. its the kids weekend anyhow i say bring on the kids pics during easter and x-mas especially. im sure they are stoked!!!!
I can't say for sure, but to me this photo looks like she's posing... look at how her hands are positioned lower to the ground. Any how it is a nice picture, you cant deny it!
You have to laugh about the trends of MTB world haha, implying most of the converstion above. Is it me and as cool as this phot is, does there seem to be a photo shopped rooster tail above
I know these are all jokes, but If the Rheeder got robbed one refers to Highland's comp last summer, then its really not true/worth mentioning. Semenuk did get points for being Semenuk, but being Semenuk means that you have the smoothest style out there. Semenuk and Rheeder's runs were pretty much the same in technical difficulty if I remember correctly (I was there watching), and Semenuk's style was unmatched by anybody else there. He was steezy as hell with an emphasis on the ease part.
@Samtomkins, Its a POM because people like you that think you are all high n mighty and want to comment (giving it Views) on it to make yourself feel good. Yes the photo was staged... come on a 4 year old could figure that out. The point of the photo is the this 4 YEAR old girl was out having fun with the us. Look at the smile!
this is soooo rigged. she only has one knee pad on which she is rested on and look at the googles too! and shes smiling idk about you guys but most people dont model when they are hammering down a trail!!!
upon closer inspection, you will notice the "smile" is actually a look of horror as the poor kid is about to get a mouthful of berm, just so her daddy can have a cool shot to show all of us.....and to that I say thank you to all the neglectful parents out there. Without you there would be no AFV, Jackass, or basically ANY footage of kids doing dangerous and cool shit. Hat's off to you.
I effin LOVE this POD. Staged or not, that kid will probably shred some day.
Wow...some people take this REALLY seriously. Haha! No, it's not "shopped", yes it was for fun, yes the dirt was thrown in as I clicked the shutter, we had one light off camera right behind me. This is my friend's daughter, and we were out for an evening of shooting on the trails with the big boys. She was so stoked to be out there. I have two little ones of my own, and I couldn't be more stoked to see how jazzed she was to be included. These little ones will be the future of the sport...we all started somewhere.
I am so stoked to get POD with the first photo I have up on pinkbike...that wasn't a bike for sale.
Whats with all the dislike of this POD? I think its really good. No it doesn't have epic sunsets or sick whips or tricks but hey... it captures the key of the sport which is fun. The smile on the girl's face just makes it so much better. We are started somewhere anyway right?
All you hater suck ass! It's a little girl with a couple parents that love to ride and love their kid! Maybe, when you people grow up or get over the fact that its ALL about the huge air and wicked this and sick that.....you may realize this whole biking thing is a brotherhood, and you should be stoked that this little kid and other little kids are getting into the sport so young! Good pic mom and dad. Coming from a guy with two of his own.
It is sad that the trek session, Zink , norbs comments get all the props and people are picking it apart... Obviously it is staged so her parents could have a SWEET pic to throw on the mantle.. PB is getting out of control..
Totally ROCKS!!! My daughter is 2 1/2 and rides a PINK BIKE. Can't wait for her to shred with mommy and daddy. The next gen of grommet shredders. Great POD.
Photoshop. Da fuck you talking bout, shes hossing the fuck outa that berm. Gwinn better watch out hes bout to be getting his ass whooped by a little girl this season.
you all are stoked on a fake picture. The handle bar is leaning into the dirt as all can see. If when riding the handle bar actually hit the dirt the girl would go flying. Given she's a strong little girl to hold the pose for daddy
I wouldnt say photoshoped, but i dont like them calling out what its not. I love the pic, but i dont think the kid is even moving, just leaning on the berm posed for the shot, you can se what she leaning on and the dirt is falling, as if thrown, not pushed up by the tires. Great shot yes, a pinned dragging the bars, no.
I wouldn't really say it's POD worthy :/ But it's a good picture anyway! Like the dirt in the air too, makes it look like she's roosting the berm whilst being pinned! haha
FAKE w chuj!
You go girl. That's great your starting soo young, I wish I would have. And ignore all the negative comments. Apparently there mama never taught them any better!
not a POD but.....cool pic.just gettin my 1yr old into bikes an he loves nothin more than gettin on his balance bike gettin all muddy.the next gen of DH riders!!!!!
lol @15 year olds stating the obvious because they are threatened that this could be a real action shot. this is an awesome photo and shes having a blast, nuf said, love it!
Sweet shot! It appears as though she has some roost going as well, just to prove that she was actually moving when she did this!! Got me stoked to go shred for real!
she's posing,..........her shin is leaning on the ground as is her handlebar
and the dirt spray behind her head is not from the bike its from another photo or it was thrown in for affect as you can see she's not even moving to cause some dirt spray as her hair isnt flowing in the air its laying on her shoulders ?!?!?!?
Its easy to see she was set up like that before the photo. She was not riding...
1: Her feet are planted no where near the center of the pedals 2: Her hair shows no signs of movement or momentum, just signs that is has been sitting still 3: Her knee and handlebars are resting on the ground 4: They are resting on the ground because there is no smoke from dirt or any signs at all that they were merely "scrapping" the ground. 5: Her hands are positioned on her handlebars nowhere near a normal riding stance. They are exactly where they would be if you were to set up for that photo. 6: The positioning of her body over the bike in general is not accurate.
Serious-E. We can obviously tell that you and EVERYONE else hating is just extremely jealous that a 4year old can get POD and you guys cant so everyone can calm down and be stoked on this awesome funny picture. jeez
We all started off there right? 1 day with no day care, she wanted to come hang out watch our friends hit the jumps and rip the trails. My daughter can ride her bike and is super excited to be riding in the dirt without training wheels.
If she could tell everyone, she would say."My friend threw the dirt and I had so much fun riding my red bike Daddy!" That's what it's all about if you ask me. FUN... The future of the sport depends on special moments like this, right or wrong technique, all it needs is positive encouragement, just think how many other children out there were inspired by this? PS The photograph was not Photoshopped and the Goggles are real.
LMAO.... your still looking at it incorrectly. Its not the fact that she is still or it is a still photo, its the fact that they post it trying to act like it wasn't. More power to her learning and future in riding, but no need to lie and try to get props where they are not deserved.
