Jeff Lenosky’s signature ReDikyelous hardtail is longer, slacker, lower and more maneuverable than any hardtail we’ve ever offered. Dreamt up from a storied career of technical singletrack, bike parks, jumps and urban shredding, Jeff designed his dream rig to be the ultimate, stranded on a deserted island, multi-tool 29er hardtail.

The Hooptie is our way of paying respect to the OG pioneers and their Klunker-style bikes that started it all. It’s what you want when you feel like a million bucks but only have twenty in your pocket, and it’s going toward a sixer of Dale’s Pale Ale and a couple Blue Dream pre-rolls. It’s a no frills, barn built 4130 Chromoly steel, 29” mountain bike designed with modern geometry to fit modern(ish) bike parts.

Spring days digging and riding the Oskar Blues REEB Ranch slopestyle-esque and flowing pumptracks inspired REEB’s 26″ Destroyer Dirt Jumper. The updated Destroyer’s short chainstays create the quick & flickable rear end while the DJ inspired tubeset is a mix of CroMoly and VariWall ThermlX tubing, which means it’s 100% American Made. New in 2020, the dropouts are laser cut locally while we keep the frame 100% Barn Built in Lyons, CO.

When we developed The Sam’s Pants, our dirt road rippin’, monster crossin’, adventure tourin’, backcountry bikepackin’, daily commutin’, all-rounder we did it with a mountain biker’s thirst for rough gravel roads and self-propelled backcountry adventure. The 2020 edition adds multiple mounting points for extra water and gear, plus an updated 31.6mm seat tube to fit modern dropper seatposts.

It’s what you want when you feel like a million bucks but only have twenty in your pocket, and it’s going toward a sixer of Dale’s Pale Ale and a couple Blue Dream pre-rolls.

I like you, REEB. I like you a lot.

Going to need at least $600 in your pocket, though

why do i not own a klunker.... that looks amazing to just fuck around the neighborhood and look for ditch booters between driveways!!!! plywood ramps all fucking day!

Ideal for skids, wheelies, and plywood ramp sending.

 @xxsurlyxx: Weren't those the days?!
  • 5 0
Do it! Its easy to piece together a klunker from old SS frames, used parts, craigslist 90s bikes, etc. Don't worry about the coaster brake part... just make sure it's cheap, kinda junky, totally rad, and has the appropriate handlebars (looks matter I guess). Surly sells the Sunrise handlebar for $60, but I bought a $25 dirtbike handlebar (7/8" clamp size means it fits BMX stems and standard MTB brakes and grips)

@showmethemountains: its all about those f*cking huge bars man that makes it.

 exactly what I thought.....

I was lucky enough to test ride a 2019 Sqweeb with the guys this spring. Before the ride was done, I was already making a mental lineup of things to sell. Bought a frame as soon as I could.

Best. Damn. Bike. Ever.

Seriously. Does everything well, is a ton of fun and is absolutely bombproof. Handbuilt in the USA with gorgeous welds and paint.

If you’re in the market for anything close to this spec, it’s a no-brainer.

 running short or long travel?

@adrennan: Mine's the V2 so it's 142mm as they didn't have the adjustable until the V3 rocker arm. So neither and/or both, I guess?

I'm running a coil on the back with an MRP Ribbon Air up front at 160mm and it's very well balanced. Overbiked for a lot of what I ride, but even on mellower trails it's still a ton of fun.

Lyons CO. Dales. Hall Ranch. Sqweeb.

I'd rock that clunker. Looks like a blast. Two years ago I was bikepacking part of the azt, and I saw a pack of 3 or 4 clunkers flying down towards me. It was a beautiful sight.

 "what kinda bike is that?"
"it's a Reeb Sqweeb"

I have the previous version Sqweeb and that bike does everything well. Got chance to rip the V3 Sqweeb and it’s killer. The adjustable geo and rear shock options are super rad.

My dream bike was a Santa Cruz Hightower. After 2 years of dicking around, I finally got one. I sold it after owing it for maybe 4 months and got a Sqweeb without ever riding one! Best decision I made! Loved the bike so much that now I also have a Dikyelous 2!
  • 4 0
So many options with a simple lower shock bridge swap! Travel change, leverage ratio tuning, mullet setup geometry correction...genius.
  • 4 0
130mm-150mm adjustable suspension is a very cool idea. Also loving the RAW.
  • 4 0
Unless your Nukeproof, and then it's the worst idea anybody came up with apparently... Smile

When I was in college I named my dog after a beer (St. Pauli Girl). It was an okay name for a dog hidden in a dorm room. I’d like to criticize naming a bike company “beer” backwards as kind of dumb, but I guess that would be hypocritical.
  • 7 0
Look up the company history. There is a good reason it is beer backwards.
  • 1 0
@Austink: holy shit I never realized it was beer
  • 5 0
Good to see quality bikes being made in the US by Americans. Nicely done!

The ReDikyelous is amazing. I love that bike.

 thanks Steve!

Can I peel that reeb sticker off? Still waiting for the large brand decal on the side or under the down tube become unpopular.
  • 7 1
 100 percent peel off-able :-)

How are you gonna clunk with that sweet fork?
  • 8 0
 Shocks, pegs, lucky?
  • 4 0
@Hyakian: have you taken it off any sweet jumps lately?
  • 1 0
Haha word, was looking at like damn! That thing has a nicer set of wheels then my all mountain bike. SMH Love the concept though, but fuck i feel broke.

 Hooptie Clunker FTW.

Ask yourself, are you SQWEEB enough PUNK... well are YA

SO, continuing my rant against stupid bike names... WTH is a sqweeb... I get beer spelled backwards, giving that a meh, but doesn't kill the brand for me. BUT sqweeb backwards doesn't seem to make anymore sense that frontwards? beewqs?

Any help here? Smile

I figured it was a reference to the squeeb haircut from Tony Hawk and other skaters in the 80s, but maybe that's just because I'm an old fart.

urban dictionary; When your totally f*cked, screwed, shit out of luck, when you're up-shit's-creek without a paddle, when all hope is gone, when it's game over man, game over, and not even Batman can save you with his batbong and a million bucks that's when you're squeeb'd.

Not sure about sqweeb, but the name reeb ruins it for me. I'm mean nothing against them. I'm sure they're probably great bikes. I just think it's a terrible name and wouldn't ride one b/c of it. Ranks below Giant for me, which is another one I cant bring myself to purchase solely b/c theres something about the name ruins it for me. Even though I've probably ridden something, at some point, that Giant manufactures and been happy with it.
  • 3 0
@ChrisNJ: you do know that it beer spelt backwards which makes it super rad
  • 2 0
@bedell99: he'd never be caught dead riding a reeb ekib.
  • 1 3
@bedell99: unless you're not really into beer, which I am not. Hard liquor, please! Maybe I'll make Akdov Bikes. Sounds just as good...actually, a bit better me thinks.
And I wouldn't be able to ride a Reeb Sqweeb either. Sounds like a silly floor cleaning tool created by Dyson or something
  • 2 2
@bedell99: lol yes. I think its a fun name for the Reeb Ranch, a brewery,or whatever else along those lines, I just don't want it plastered in huge letters on the downtube.
Full disclosure...Whisky bottle cages are totally fine with me. Because sometimes you need to carry whisky and theres nothing wrong w/ identifying where it's held on the bike in case you've had too much and need a reminder on where to put it

2200 frame only? GG carbon option for the same price also made in USA....

Nice try
  • 1 0
 Yeah, my thought as well.
  • 7 2
GG is pumping bikes out of molds. REEB is 100% handmade.
  • 3 1
@stevethespacecowboy: By handmade if mean "Computer Numerical Control" machine work, via "CAD software". Then yes. !00% handmade.
  • 1 4
@Hyakian: Have fun on your plastic fantastic toys!
  • 3 1
I got one of the last aluminum Guerrilla Gravitys. If I had waited I would not have bought one of the carbon bikes. I love how they let you build the bike you want but I’m not a fan of carbon.
  • 1 0
i prefer the aluminum. like kermode, i got one of the last aluminum bikes. i miiiight get one of the carbon bikes, but i feel pretty meh about carbon.
  • 2 0
@stevethespacecowboy: eh, I'm an alloy fan too, I just thought it was funny that CNC = 100% handmade.
  • 2 0
 I meant.... I hear ya!!!!
  • 2 1
@Hyakian: there is still a lot of hand work in CNC. Especially in a small environment like REEB. CNC is only as good as the person behind the programming/fixturing/set-up/machine choice/procedure choice etc.
  • 1 0
Looking at this comment a year later and seeing as Reebs are available a couple of months faster than GG is pretty nice.
