We've all been there: It's the rock roll you've done a thousand times before, that one off-camber root section, or maybe it's your first time hitting a brand new drop - you crash. Accidentally crashes are part of our sports. EVOC certainly don’t want you to provoke crashes for this competition but they would like to keep you safe on your next adventure by dishing out prizing for the best fail of each month. Here are our picks for May.

 Good to hear. though after last weekend most of the trails in sydney are rekt. The trail fairies have a mammoth task from comments on guys who checked em out and have started the cleanup. For the rest of the world we had a mega storm, 400mm of rain in two days up and down the east coast of australia, lot of sweet trails are going to be cactus for a while.

 General comment: When your mate crashes, wait a few seconds before you ask, "Are you alright?" That question is more for you than for him - he's still in the pain zone. At the very least, wait until he stops bouncing. :-)

 I think #6 deserves some kind of award for best dismount. That would be such a completely unexpected thing to happen, yet buddy was ejecting before he even cleared the ramp and managed to land and roll out on the other side, up and trotting over to his bike before it even stops moving. That's one athletic big dude!

 Is a fail really a fail when you're racing? I don't think those count. Can we say those crashes last weekend were a fail? I think they're more of a fail, when you're trying something new, doing something stupid, or just in general doing shit above your level.
