sheffer gives those super nice go pro vids. but what we still miss is those huge hucks with go pro... cant we see it? same goes for like euh things there doerflngs hucks etc...
I watched a buddy hit the toonie 3x in a row about 7 years ago. It was gut wrenching. He kept blowing his feet off the pedals (wonder why?!!). I love big drops but the harshness factor and the fact that it's BLIND makes me roll on by. I did hit the loonie though (so did Wade on a carbon xc bike in an edit...) Great vid!! Keep sendin'r!!!
yea those drops are blind its noting like a step up...and in the forest thats even scarier cause of the trees... thats also why you need to do a few practice run ins.. also for speed checks ofcourse. but for big drops like this you better know what you do. casing would be really bad. and overshooting would be even badder. and still you need speed more then you would think. because from high it doesnt look far. anyway you need to be like pretty sure you will handle it . pretty sure about your speed and pretty sure you will not get to afraid. ive once let loose of the handlebars just when my front wheel was hittin air. result landing on my back. good it was sand cause it was pretty hi. what andreu and aggy hit this year was far beyond. so was this
This video is exactly the one I've been waiting for. Just like early 00's with modern features and some good music. This is how you make a proper MTB video.
Wow props! First time I've ever seen anyone crash the toonie. Glad you were ok! I don't remember having to send that second feature that fast but it's been a long time ha. Great stuff over in the BPs too!
Thanks great vid as always Max!
Fvcking VOM at least! The tunes speak for themselves, I don't even need to go there. f*ck that drop, he looked so small at the top of that fvcker. In between those trees & looks like kind of a blind mild hip. Faaaaaack dude, I'd love to see a POV of that one. Respect.
One of the video I enjoyed the most since a really long time, this guys pushing so hard his Darkside! Congrats the step down is just massive! Guys do you know where is this step down in the North Shore? Cheers
This is what we need.......more of this stuff! Big congrats for hitting that Toonie Drop and love all the wood features on whatever trail/s it is you are riding. We need to bring more wood features back in to riding......wood is good!
Cool. Great riding.... My younger brothers climbing area (bouldering) is getting some play time. Be kind to it. Give it respect. That is his little quiet sanctuary. You want forearm pump after your mtb ride you finish with some bouldering......
Awesome riding! This video brings back the stoke I felt as a kid watching North Shore Extreme Volume 3. The North Shore looks SO sick to ride -- maybe one day...
I see this kind of shit all the time on trails I like to ride.... That's just it though, I see them and wonder what kind of idiot would get a thrill about even attempting such a stupid thing. No, I'm not trying to quench the stoke, but let's be reasonable, what would your mom think if she saw you doing that dude?
His mom would probably blow him because no woman can resist a guy who is that ballsy and talented. You may piss your pants looking at this stuff, but people have been doing this for years and are well equipped for such features. Keep on riding and be envious of how talented these dudes are. MTBing would be no where near what it is today with guys like this.
video is killer. how tf can you enjoy mountain biking but think this is "such a stupid thing?" yeah, when i go to MX events I think "what are these guys thinking trying to hit doubles and triples"
Mountainman84 with possibly the worst comment on PB ever
I think a lot of the features you are talking about Mountainman84 got made for video edits. Not many people do them without the cameras rolling and people standing ready to do CPR, or call an ambulance.

Great vid!! Keep sendin'r!!!
RAW action, no tricks and loud music!
Shitty Music....I hate 80's pop/rock music with a passion.
