C'mon PB I'm at work and can't watch the videos. I need pictures.
  • 73 5
I agree. These "videos-as-articles" suck. I browse at work sometimes and it's easy to stop and start reading an article, but I can't listen to/watch videos while I work. Stop it @pinkbikeoriginals...

 @ScandiumRider @pinkbikeoriginals @pahblo

The problem is that you work for Big Brother - that's not Pinkbike's fault is it......? Clearly you need to adjust your career path to prioritize PB.

Get your boss to also love bikes and you’ll never work a day in your life.
  • 5 0
What pinkbike needs to do is a create a Roku, Chromecast, or some other streaming channel for bars, bikeshops, outdoors stores, etc to display throughout the day. Pinkbike, contact me if you'd like me to direct this program haha

@endlessblockades: LOL, I literally work for a bike company featured in a bunch of these videos. I'm good with my current career path. Doesn't make videos-as-articles any better, I prefer reading.
  • 1 0
 @ScandiumRider: "sometimes"
  • 2 1
@ScandiumRider: Got it - I thought "CAN'T" referred to a firewall/bossman issue like other dood seemed to be saying. Still, the video is only 4+ mins and there is a pause button!

In my case Elliot Jackson's data site is filtered by our content gear and I started looking at job postings.
  • 6 6
Don't fret PB, I enjoy these videos. Just because some wankers are too lazy to do the job they are being paid to do doesn't mean you need to change your format. Cheers!
  • 1 1
Some of us don't have time to be looking at pictures when working either.
  • 4 4
@djm35: Right? Because we are doing that we are paid to do. Furthermore, maybe if more people did their job correctly they would get paid more and they could stop moaning about prices and making ridiculous dentist references.
  • 1 3
At least vernon felton is gone. Give PB just a little credit for once.
  • 1 1
@ScandiumRider: Here comes the neg props... I guess we should all deserve more say in the free content they provide instead of being grateful for the coverage? Sorry it wasn't catered to you so that you could sit at work and watch it, maybe save it for when you get home?
  • 1 1
@VPS13: maybe you wont get neg props if youre not an a*shole. we all understand this is free, it doesnt mean that it suits the content well. when youre talking about and showing off bikes a ton more information can be gathered through picture and text than through a 4 minute video. hence why 95% of this sites articles about new bikes are... ARTICLES...
  • 1 1
@laxguy: If pointing out the entitlement of someone's opinion on dictating how the content is created on a website that they do not contribute towards makes me an a*shole then I can accept that... Perhaps you could start a website and do a better job if it bothers you that much.
  • 1 1
This has got to be a gee up? Maybe don’t watch it at work?
  • 1 0
@VPS13: yup, thats exactly what im going to do. because expressing your opinion is wrong and instead just go make it yourself, because thats totally feasible. jackass.
  • 71 2
LOL...alloy bikes aren't even rideable. I mean, look at the Commencal team, they haven't won jack sh!t on their bronze age metal bikes...Please PB, lets limit the coverage to $13K plastic bikes and $3K plastic wheels.
  • 13 1
Yeah if I can still afford the bike after I donate my legs, one eyeball, 4 fingers, and an ass cheek, I dont want to see it. Period.
  • 24 0
like those poor bastards racing WC on DT ex471 ally rims with that ridiculously narrow 25mm... god bless them
  • 16 0
@ismasan: Right?! My working assumption is most of them are dead now. Just not possible to run that narrow sh!t and live through the experience.

Remember: Don't ride 25 if you want to survive

Pour a little Stans on the ground in their honor...

@jackalope : haha i wanted to say this but didnt know how, thank you,

You’ve got to stop donating, and start selling those valuable parts man! @chillrider199:

I think Ghost is one of the best looking Sessions out there
  • 5 1
I think the best looking Session is the Scott (Gambler) Prototype

when the shot went from the transtion to the orange i almost threw up. much prefer a session looking thing to that abortion of an orange
  • 5 4
@jaycubzz: I thought I was the only one...
  • 5 2
@jaycubzz: apparently you Canadians have shit taste, well go back to liking Sessions, big trucks, guns and standardised stuff.

santa cruz puts out a colourway and the year after everybody and their moms have the exact same colourway
  • 10 0
Next up, Dockers mountain bike wear in any colour you want as long as it’s beige. The waist sits halfway up your chest. And white tube socks to go with the ensemble
  • 2 1
Transition always seems to be a little ahead of the curve on colors as well. What drives these popular colors anyway? There's got to be a study on that...
  • 7 0
 @Someoldfart:
You say that like it's a bad thing...[slides Crocs on over white tube socks]

XOXOXO,
Fellow old guy

 @jackalope: Bwahahahahahaha
  • 5 3
Hey utley 06. I don't think you get @transitionbikes they don't try to portray any image, except being down to earth guys who like to have fun ,and ride , design killer bikes. If You call great customer service, killers bikes, and a actual sense of humor- " douche - over the top- super cool guy image". You nailed it. Tex

I like the direction transition is taking their paint jobs, more modern and simple. Hope they fix the the clearance issues on the smuggler.
  • 4 0
Zendy must be the second best name in the industry. Number one is still Cornelius Kapfinger

Getting Zendy with Pantling in the Kootenays on the Edge, by Kapfinger

I may have been interested in seeing the rest if I’d have seen them before that sexy af Transition Scout!
Way to go Transition!
  • 2 1
Why no coverage of the new Alutech Fanes 6.0? Just popped up on my radar but damnnnn! Pretty f'in sexy. Gotta be one of the best looking aluminum bikes out there. The NFC/smartphone app thing is pretty neat as well.

Going coil shock only is a bold strategy Cotton, lets see if it pays off.
  • 4 0
this video won't work on my 486DX
  • 3 0
My 486SX with mathco handles it just fine.
  • 1 0
@indotrails: It lags a bit on my 486SL, but too bad I cannot see the colors on my monochrome LCD.
  • 2 0
 Hit the Turbo button.
  • 1 0
@Endurahbrah: what was that button do or how?
  • 1 0
@nfa2005: I don't think it did anything but I remember seeing PC's back in the day that had a Turbo button. Lol
  • 4 0
Darrin that’s not how you pronounce aluminum.
  • 4 1
 @TransitionBikeCompany Carbon Scout please!!!!
  • 1 0
Interesting that the new @TransitionBikeCompany models are equipped with @StansNoTubes wheelsets.
  • 1 0
@kwapik: they get em for next to nothing. Great wheels n deals at stans!
  • 1 0
@jrocksdh For sure. Plus I'm positive they wanted to stop offering those exploding Novatec hubs that were on certain models. There's a reason why Santa Cruz stopped using them.

By the way - how's the new Rallon?
  • 1 0
@kwapik: honesty, I haven't gotten to know the rallon yet. Surfs been pumping; heat wave; and final stages of remodel of my residence.
I need to figure out the fox suspension still, add volume spacers(front/back);
Waitn on a 45 stem to replace the 32 or 35 it came with. This large @455 reach is at my min but probably ok. Id def prefer 465. The xl is way to big.
  • 1 0
Did the Bergamont guy just get an arm extension done? Some people will do anything to fit in with the 'new school' reach measurements.

 "Capable to pin the trails"

 It's Chaz!
  • 2 0
Where's the alloy Slash PB? Bit slow on the uptake...
  • 2 0
The real question is can Zendy get sendy on the Poly?
  • 2 0
 Those Polygons look excellent
  • 5 5
Yeah if people could stop painting bikes orange this year that would be great... Way too many orange colorways
  • 4 1
Agreed that and neon yellow need to go away, like forever.
  • 3 0
Orange has got to be so pissed!
  • 2 0
Hopefully we're seeing the last run of the orange 36rs..'18.
  • 1 0
the pork pie hat really sells me on those Ghost bikes...
  • 1 0
Was that a Fox Rhythm 36 on the Polygon at the end?
  • 1 0
Yeah, that's the first Rhythm 36 I've seen.
  • 9 10
Cool bikes, although the douche / over the top / super cool guy image transition tries to portray wears on me.
  • 5 0
they may be a little bro-y at times, but the videos they put out are obviously making fun of the over the top/super cool guy thing.

i've only met a couple of people from transition on a demo day, but they were incredibly down to earth and friendly
  • 1 1
 Maxiiii !! Die Wampe waechst!
  • 2 3
Scout is not, nor has ever been considered an enduro bike...
  • 5 0
Yet I have raced enduro on mine, it's a weird world.
  • 1 0
@smuggly: you can race your tricycle in an enduro, doesn't make it an enduro bike.

Not sayin it's not a very capable trail bike able to hit above it's weight class due to some great geometry. And for sure "horses for courses". There will be some races the scout might be the better tool for the job over a patrol or sentinel.
  • 1 0
@angelofverdun: I got it, since people call free ride bikes "downduro's" we can call trail bikes "upduro's"...
  • 4 6
I want to work at Transition! SOOO MUCH PARTY!!!!!!!
