2012 Cove STD on the Shore

Brad Walton self-filmed video for the 2012 Cove STD. Soundtrack by Flying Lotus, "Camel". Canon 60d, 720p60. 95% of shots are with a Sigma 30mm f/1.4. Additional shots with Nikon 50mm f/1.4, Tokina 11-16 f/2.8, Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS5 for editing.

 fantastic job! Really got some sweet shots in there. I found this video very unique in that there are hardly any VODs that are super wet and rainy with water splashing everywhere. I live in marin county where there isn't any snow in the winter so I like seeing the kind of winter riding I do. Great cinematography, props.

 Bro you should have sold that segment! I've seen a lot of MTB movies and there is absolutely NO comparison to capturing North Shore vibe, not even close! I have always considered this to be one of the gnarliest trails in BC, perhaps the world! That log ride alone, is death if you fall. Awakener is a close 2nd.

 The quality of the angles and the fact that the technical trails lend themselves to static shots made me not realise this was a self edit until the credits at the end. This must have taken a lot of hard work. Well done!

 This is probably the first "shore" video that really made me feel like I was there. Amazing you shot all this yourself, must have been tiring! Loved how you kept the ambient noise, and that trail looks freakin' surreal. Beautifully done.
