Wow. I am actually very impressed and moved by your motivation dude. Losing your leg to cancer, living to tell about it and riding. You do not give up man, don't ever give up. You are good rider and nothing is better than some excersise like cycling. You are doing so much for the mtb community and the Cancer patient community by letting them know no matter how bad things get, they should never stop doing what they love. I am honestly left with no words, you get to ride after a deadly disease and live to tell about it, others just go straight home to God. Keep it going man, you are an inspiration to us all showing us that there is nothing stronger than human faith and hope. VOD.

his name is brian bartlett.. and yes he makes legs for guys like this, but he doesnt sell them, he gives them to people. but the guy in the video doesnt see himself as handicapped, hes ripping harder than a lot of us with 2 legs do. I have mad respect for that.

wow.i just watched this and called my wife and kids over to see it.all of us were dead quiet and my kids jaws were wide open.here is me complaining today because it has been raining just about everyday since christmas...i just have to ride now.even a "townhill " ride i dont care.it is pitch black outside but im going to find my lights and head out right away........thanks to however did this.

He's sure got his one footers dialled. seriously thought one of the most inspiring things ive seen (up there ith tp's 199 lives), i dont think i ever have a right to complain about things again. he is a fantastic example of manning up. you deserve a god dam medal!!!

major props to this guy! The fact that he can ride like that blows me away! He should have a chat with Brian Bartlett, he designed a prosthetic leg that allows amputees to be able to stand on the pedals normally. Again, mad props to this dude!!!
Good for you Patrick. I have a buddy that just had an accident and lost the movement in his right arm. he was a great hockey player on are team and now he cant play. Hes gonna get surgey and I hope some day he can play hockey with us again. It just goes to show you that how we take the simple things for granted.

It just must be a whole new dynamic of riding, taking those turns, jumping and landing. And the amount of balance that's required when missing a leg like that..great great riding; don't be fooled by how easy he makes it seem.

I also didn't think it was even possible...sweet and yes, he's better than ALOT of riders with 2 legs. Kinda makes me sick when you have guys like this rippin it up making good riding vids and then you have morons with two legs on this site that make retarded videos that make fun of good riders instead of riding.

You should check out leftsideincdotcom. the guy lost his leg above the knee and crafted a prostetic for it.
obviously he dosent have a prosteic and he looks like he's doing fine, but i'm just suggesting it to make his life slighly easier. either way mad props for riding still.
