Atfer not riding with Kirk Mc Dowall for a while, we are both back with a trail preview video. New location, but also new type of bike. On this day, we both had a limited amount of time and the forest fires had made the air pretty smokey, so we took our e-bikes and it was a good choice! We did 2.5 laps of the mountain, and a lot more descending than we would have done on regular bikes.

Waki is busy launching his takeover of the PB comment section, entirely for the purpose of eliminating all trolling and hate speech through the medium of other people's cash and not in any way as an inane vanity project dreamt up because, you know, where does the man who has everything go from putting Poles into earth orbit (at sea level minus about 1,000m). I don't know where I'm going with this.
Did you by chance mean to say "you couldn't have said "I'm stupid" any more clearly.? Or stupidly did you really mean to say couldn't of?
And did you also mean to say that you have to much humor, instead of too much humor or did you really even think?
Maybe i need an American flag next to my name
I would shuttle, just don't have a truck or the tolerance for other people and wasted time.
I would hate ebikes, but.. what someone else rides on is irrelevant to me..
Sorry if I came off aggressive there. It’s refreshing to see people who arent personally interested in owning one not complaining about them. It’s becoming draining
That's just my own personal anecdote, but a lot of us like to sit in silence while hurting ourselves going up the hill, and have a few scary moments on the way down. It's a much more efficient way to get in the miles and fitness, without having to wait on other people, or have other people wait on you.
Riding with big groups of people or doing shuttle laps on a weekend is something I have to mentally prepare for, so I don't do it all that often.
They are an incredible tool. If you have access to
Insane alpine rides…man I can only imagine, even just banging out 6 laps instead of 3 when you want to train for DH season etc.
My friends and I can simply do stuff we’d never do on pedal bikes. Most of our good DH has horribly steep access that no one climbs, not even the xc dudes. Now we can do a full day of unsanctioned primo DH on weekends when the rest of the trails are busy as. I can pedal during the week for fun / exercise and enjoy the serenity of no f*cking people. Win win.
Fact is most opinions are just based on some douche who has barely ridden, gets an E because he’s lazy, and when he does ride he’s riding it on stupidly flat trails / boring shit where an extremely heavy and slack bike is simply a piece of shit to ride and he’d be better off on a trail bike.
But let’s not just throw everyone into the same bucket. E can be fun and it can be lame. That’s like most things.
Hopefully some people can get on here and tell the world they don’t like something so nobody else should either.
