Except for the fact that batteries tend to loose a lot of power when they are below freezing. Being in Canada though, you might be able to have one helluva good time rolling straight from the garage, assuming it is heated. When I lived in Calgary my garage was not and I killed every drill battery I had.
In her defence, Sarah did say "things we haven't gotten our hands on yet". The GG was so worthwhile they went and got their hands on it, and then did feature films for.
@sarahmoore: Makes sense and I see you edited the January photo. All good, but I thought the GG release was the biggest tech release until the new SRAM release. All that said, it has been an awesome year so far for MTB!!!
Man that Marzocchi on the Rocky Mountain Pope Dream...
If they made a limited run of retro-looking bikes like that, I'd buy one for sure
Bring back the linkage plates!! The wacky tubes!! The odd colours!!!
Interesting that Vorsprung has made their own coil conversion kit. I'd be very curious as to how this compares to the Push system, but am definitely biased towards Vorsprung given the quality of Steve's videos.
Price point is close so I'd like to see a head to head comparison between the ACS3 and the Smashpot. I bet both are good but I will be in the market for one of them very soon.
I’m looking forward to seeing some reviews and comparisons. Both products appear solid and have their Pros and Cons. From an outright performance perspective, the Smashpot appears to have more advantages but at a weight penalty. I wouldn’t mind either
Damn impressed with company's like Halo and Marzocchi taking on a market that is much needed for a lot of people. In today's industry there seems to be a divide between the uber expensive and Walmart quality products. Quality parts for reasonable prices!
@sspiff: if you go to the closest grocery you will find much cheaper cheese... haven’t seen a single alu Bontrager wheel that isn’t dented Everywhere. Especially the Line Comp
The new Marzocchi shock, they have it in stock in Cali if anyone is looking to buy one. Fox SLS spring fits, so far no confirmation on if they'll make a red spring. Mine will be, probably just rattle can.
