Tease us with that Caminade, then nothing in the article!!!! I've got blue balls here!
  • + 13
 Thirst trap.
  • + 6
I have a feeling that the author means in a separate and in-depth article when he says " More about this bike soon".

Granted that Caminade looks the business. #Ti #fullsquish #Enduro, all the hashtags WOWZA
  • + 2
@rnayel: IT DOESN'T SAY THAT ON THE THUMBNAIL!!!
  • + 4
@hamncheez, this might not fully fix your ailment, but you can read a little more about it here: www.pinkbike.com/news/caminade-shares-titanium-enduro-prototype.html.
  • + 12
@mikekazimer: Is that link safe for work?
  • + 20
@hamncheez, yes, but I guess it'll depend on what you do after you click on it.
  • + 5
@mikekazimer: Oh yeah, that one. Forgot about the double-shear shock mounting... Boner kill, hard no from me.
  • + 2
I can't imagine why anyone would buy that bike let alone ride it other than to show off and try to look awesome to people who don't have a clue about good bikes...
  • + 20
I'd rather ride a 3-wheeler than that Marin.
  • + 7
I wonder how SR Suntour (their sponsor) feels about having a Fox X2 on that bike as well
  • + 5
 i'd rather walk...
  • + 0
 Bike shreds.
  • + 3
 agreed its ugly AF
  • + 0
Yea because that bike is for adult only lolol
  • + 18
Not having the bike in the cover photo in the actual check is such a tease...
  • + 1
 product placement
  • + 3
That’s twice in two days now. Not cool.
  • + 17
I normally dont judge bikes by the looks but holy sh*t is that marin ugly
  • + 5
Lever feel for a dropper is such an overrated thing. Just a market created for PNW and Wolftooth! It goes up , it goes down . Even the shitty old Reverb did the job. Best hack for brake levers - get a 1mm drill bit and drill grip dots into the lever, well do the same for your dropper lever and save yourself the cash from a hyped lever.
  • + 3
 I just use skateboard griptape.
  • + 1
@EckNZ: that works great. if you want a rubberized grip like the new shimano shifters, use mastic tape 2228
  • + 0
@EckNZ: That’s great if you have a sponsor that gives you free gloves!
  • + 6
That EXT shock makes me drool every time I see one
  • + 4
Pretty sure Conor did mega last season.....had a nasty crash and got great footage of Deaks flying over him as he was picking himself up
  • + 2
The Nukeproof and Commencal look like they were made to take a beating. My kind of bikes. That Rallon is just fucking awesome looking. I love the color scheme on the frame. Those are three nice bikes.
  • + 4
Great stuff, loving the diversity and custom touches on these.
Also, José Borges FTW!!
  • + 4
Thomas Lapeyrie's Orbea fits well to these colored tags on Pinkbike
  • + 1
I hope Bike Yoke comes up with a matchmaker for the XTR brakes soon. I have the same setup as Jose and it would certainly be better if the trigger was on the underside of the brake.
  • + 1
That will come next fall. Until then you can just use a matchmaker: www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/triggy-an-ispec-ev.881558 :-)
  • + 1
"The Kiwi freerider is giving the Mega a go for the first time" - Conor was definitely there last year but had a bad crash at the start in the Final.
  • + 1
Either Pinkbike have stumbled upon the no prop up stick bike photo secret or they have an inter propping them up and running out of shot..
  • + 1
Fishing line + stick + photoshop
  • + 0
We’re paying every rider to hold the bike and get out of the shot, big time
  • + 3
Before/After abuse gallery would make more sense
  • + 2
I neeeeeed that purple DVO fork

Petition to make that an offered colour @DVOSuspension !
  • + 3
The stance of the Liv Hail looks a bit weird.
  • + 2
Yeah, looks like negative BB drop?
  • + 1
@enki: An already high BB combined with an external cup headset and more travel on the fork.
  • + 1
What's up with Conor's cable routing? Is that the front brake routed through the stem? Curious at to why he is routing things that way? Curious!
  • + 1
So he can do bar spins
  • + 1
I'm guessing Caminade is getting a whole lot of traffic from google redirects right now.
  • + 2
that Marin is one fugly duckling
  • + 1
10 out of 11 bikes don't have flat pedals. Is this because of the particular race terrain?
  • + 5
 its because racers prefer clips...
  • + 1
Someone tell Kevin Miquel that he will probably want a valve core in that rear wheel before the race starts...
  • + 3
 That Sunn tho..
  • + 1
 Weirdo seat tube...
  • + 2
Man, look at the paint wear on the Ransom's chainstay!
  • + 2
You mean the 'Ramsom' (per caption)?
  • + 2
@endlessblockades: maybe the Caminade is a Cannondale
  • + 1
Oh my that purple DVO is absolute fire. It needs to become on of their color options.
  • + 1
Would be interesting if they ride a "softer" setup compared to let's say single park laps to prevent hand fatigue.
  • + 1
Whats up with the valve stems on Miquel’s FSA wheelset? They look like metal schrader valves.
  • + 1
That Marin looks like the boss of all of them. I don't care for the disagreements haha
  • + 1
 That Sunn looks really good!
  • + 1
Is the Scott Ramsom a new model? @kabelleira
  • + 1
You fellas don’t forgive a typo at 1am...
  • + 0
@kabelleira: do you really self-publish without a subeditor looking your text through? Then it suddenly makes sense that PB´s own articles always have typos and incorrect information. I guess the comment section is the only subeditor on this news site..
  • + 1
Angle set in Ines Thoma's Strive..? Strange that they don't mention it
  • + 1
you sure? just looks like higher stack (external lower cup) to me
  • + 1
@mirskeinereingefalln: Yea im just curious, it's a bit hard to tell from the pic's. Im not sure why it wasn't mentioned even if it was just to increase stack..? Also the stack number is already relatively high at 644mm in large so to me it would make more sense for it to be an angle set and raising the front end makes the slack seat tube angle even worse, even the pic's seem to avoid that area of the bike. I noticed it on some other team bikes so maybe it's possibly an issue? I have the old strive and found headtube angle to steep so I put in an angle set and went up to 170mm fork. I was interested in new strive but was surprised to see the conservative geo numbers especially given the bikes intentions and with the shapeshifter to counteract it for climbing.

All i could see what lots of plastic. Isnt there enough of that floating around in the sea!?
  • + 1
Where is Tom Moore's custom Nukeproof?
  • + 1
Proper top shelf plain package material. Drool
  • + 2
 Love bike checks!!!!
  • + 0
