Is it just me or does the name of the propain rage name really not fit with the other bikes. They literally named their trail bike Eugene and now you're telling me that the Dh bike is literally just called rage?
No need to put Sergio as 'BMX Legend' in quotes -- he is one of the best riders of all-time! If anyone didn't see his pic on his instagram, check it out and try to not have your jaw hit the ground.
Saw the adjustment go in from the OP. Thank you! Sergio is amazing, and certainly one of the most influential riders of the last 17-18 years. Like so many worldwide, been a fan of him since he was just a teenager ripping the European contests like Fise and Backyard Jam. His recent decision to play around on squishy bikes has been quite fun to watch.
Geez, ever since the patent expired on the Horst link we are seeing a convergence in suspension design... rearward tracking horst linkage with an idler
Got to check out this Darkfest Session, Best Vid of the Year, cool to see how even the best dont always nail things first time. Riding for the pure joy of it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNCFWXmEIhY
@leon-forfar: ...not per se. It's just that most high-pivot linkages are set up with different leverage curves to give them a ground-hugging quality. The Norco is an exception. It's a four bar high pivot with an idler, but has a leverage curve that should give the bike lots of support in the mid stroke.
@BenTheSwabian: The big thing is that the axle path is very rear ward. The chainstay grows much more on an HP bike as it goes through its travel than a conventional lay out, which is not as ideal for jumping.
I kid, I kid.
( i know he’s really tall)
maybe Ruben would consider just sticking to big bikes when you need suspension now
Riding for the pure joy of it!
