A lot of DJ'ers and racers in there. The only two WC DH'ers in the finals are Binggeli and Bren-dog. Pretty excited for the finals none the less.
Yeah, I know. Probably should have clarified in my comment. Normally there are a few more racers in the mix. Nico is riding. Forgot to add him. Sorta surprised that big mountain riders like Kirill and Makken got beat out by guys like Mitch Chubey and Genon. Goes to show that riding skills translate across the spectrum of different disciplines.
Thank god Hopkins stomped that step down. dude laced it. I also cannot believe that Fairclough's gap worked... video games... video games. Graham's line was so friggen sick, including that massive no-hander over the canyon.
And I'm not sure about Kirill... never heard any announcement that he dropped in, although I missed half the first runs. Maybe he got injured his first go down?
Atherton: The sport as evolved a lot in the last few years. I don't think a rider like GEE could win that kind of event, this said with all respect to that great DH racer, one of the best so far.
You seen the quarry track dan built? Gee can go big, maybe not win the comp because that is based on who backflips the biggest whatever but he would still put a savage run in.
Maybe he didn't have a line from the to? I read a few times he spent all his time building the open loop, when exactly did he plan and practice a line in the top half of the course.
Does anybody know if the finals will be replaying after its over? Seems like that's the way red bull usually does it but want to be absolutely certain!!
PPLLLLEEAAAASSSEEE, let's see some vids of the qualifying round. PLEASE! Anyone? Anything? Looks like Brendog got a new link and a bit of redemption for Aggy after last year's leg break....

I want to see the qualifying runs,
All of them !
Amazing ... All these big gutted guys that are not qualified - i am thrilled.
Go Aggy, et bravo Pierre Edouard et Thomas, ca fait plaisir ! Grave !
Dear PinkBike. Please put up a link on your page that will have a list of all potential Rampage riders for next year on something like a spreadsheet. In column #1. riders names. #2. will they attend? or the reasons why not. #3. results and details of the riders run that need to qualify. #4. final results and details of what happen in the riders run. etc. Something like that. I understand that not everybody has the time to be reading up on every mountain bike article. But this will help with many of the questions I see online. Thank You.
I know but: Rampage = Diamond Event = 1000 pts 1st place, Genon @ 3628.70 + 1000 = 436.2 pts ahead of Pilgrim @ 4192.50. Even 10th place (573.7) would get him 10 pts over. FMBA needs to go back to school...
I want someone who is one of the firt people you think of when you say 'free ride' to win, like aggy or vanderham or possibly zink etc. someone who isn't at all the dirt jump/ slopestyle contests and mainly focuses on free ride. I think the fmb should have more big mountain stuff. Not to take away from rampage, but just to keep the free ride world tour a 'free ride' world tour.
For sure. Watching Connor Fearon's run at Leogang, it really stood out and obviously rode well.
I don't need one of those, but I sure as hell want one!
gotta give it up for Mike Montgomery getting that quali spot for himself! really hope he gets his run together for finals, i'll have my toilet paper handy..unlike most i doubt his goal is to "make it to the bottom"
Yea I agree hes not a big mountain rider and him not qualifing shows that. So how do they decide who pre-qualifys? People who have won rampage before or other big mountain events?
Rampage points count on the overall title since is a diamond event of the fmb tour. Rampage is a very unique event where only the top 12 of the last Rampage and winners from 2008 and 2010 get pre-qualified for finals. The other guys that are invited and have to qualy for finals are from the fmb tour (genon, granieri, pilgrim, etc) or guys known for their big mountain riding hability (brendog, benderoni, nico vink, etc)
Double Lame who's this guy ? claw made this comp what it is... If he wasn't banged up in the earlier years no one would have touched him.... Literally the MJ of MTB
Where is Sorge?
