Possessing the ability to alter the force of gravity for no one but himself, Action Cam can fly like a flightless bird – that is – for short distances in a not-totally-awkward sort of way.
Action Cam is also somewhat OK at riding bikes most of the time. We caught him in a rare moment of grace at Blackrock, Oregon in our latest film.
I’m far too clumsy to ever be a superhero. I’d get my cape stuck in a phone booth or something.—Action Cam McCaul
These guys were so fun to work with. We at Black Rock were very impressed with their professionalism and respect for the forest. They left zero trace and are welcome back anytime. The edit is fantastic but be sure to stream at the highest rate you can.
Now that looks like Cam's actual vehicle. C'mon Cam we all knew you didn't drive a fancy new VW station wagon. We know the real deal when we see it. Excellent vid, great riding as always, cool behind the scenes stuff at the end.
yess I´ve always loved Cam´s videos. Such a relaxed guy with relaxed riding style, but his relaxed riding is s on a level that probably none of us will ever achieve.
It was so amazing to see Cam do his thing on the salad tosser when they were filming this. Made it look effortless. Super chill guy too, he came and joked with us between runs. One of the Anthill guys was there just to push Cam's bike back up the hill since Cam was too lazy to do it himself! (ha ha, you had to be there to get that)
@j-t-g: from the shot at 1:59 with the bumpers it looks like a carbon session park, which is 26", knock block is a useless invention that has no place on anything other than maybe an xc bike.
@Kitejumping: Ya, it's a Session. Like I said. I made no comment on if knock block was good or not or had any place on a bike, so I'm not sure what you're inferring there.
The fork bumpers I'm talking about are exactly the ones you mentioned, which all sessions have for the dual crown forks.
@erwick: yes, it does make a lot of sense from a business standpoint, create a slightly different setup so people have to pay the bontrager tax to use other parts through an adapter, reminds me of giants overdrive steerer tube sizing.
@Dustfarter: I work in the Carolinas half the year and the article right after this one hightlights my "other" home trail system; Issaqueena aka Clemson Experimental Forest. What a weird weird day on PB. I broke a clavicle on the mini DH run at Issa back in '11.
I like the edit, I like how much effort they put into this, but that ain't good ad for an action cam imho. I want an action cam ad to provide me, as a potential user, information on how I can shoot a good video with it - Me, not some pros who have tons of action cams for just one berm - as shown in the video.
then maybe you should click on the link that appears after the video, which is labeled "tips for next level shooting" by sony action cam..... (facepalm..)
Thanks for your comments @MunichMule , we had linked to a series of how to use your Action Cams to get the best results at the end of the video. Check it out!
Wish I didn't have to pedal/push to the top, never got to experience a shuttle day there..
One day I hope..

Weird.
