He must be running with some good gear.
  • 22 17
 Dominating everywhere since his return
  • 7 1
31 Secondes up, what a beast!!!

While the humor here may obvious, I don't know that it resonates with everyone the same way.
IMO Richie is a monster athlete and incredible cyclist. It's a damn shame that he got mixed up in that nonsense as it was seemingly unknown to him.
Richie, haters gonna hate (or edge-lords gonna comment troll..). Keep smashing and earning those post ride ice-creams.
The road to 'Legend' is a long one, but you've got a solid start.

Good to see him shooting up in the results.

@kleinblake: Nah, Tren kills cardio. Not what an enduro racer would want to take. EQ on the other hand...
  • 2 1
Nico's been Rocking his training and it shows
  • 3 4
Does USA cycling do drug testing?
  • 11 2
Ritchie has been on top of gravity riding since he in his mid teens. No one seems to remember that he was junior DH world champ at 18!
  • 3 0
@yakimonti: WADA was testing at Crafts and Cranks which was a USAC race so yes
  • 3 2
 @kleinblake: sneaky good puns
  • 97 1
How about a shout out to the XC National Champ in the 85-89 age group. Fred Schmid of Team Geri Atrix ! May we all be riding into our late 80s. Keep pedaling Fred, you are an inspiration.
  • 15 1
 Fuck yeah Fred!
  • 8 0
Awesome! Way to go Fred, you are literally my hero and give me hope I can ride for another 35+ years!
  • 9 0
 Team Geri Atrix, hahaha
  • 3 0
I was tripping on that too! Fred rules! But why no 55 or 60+ DH cat?
  • 1 0
I saw that yesterday but can't find those results listed anymore.....any ideas? None of the master's results seem to be on the list.
  • 26 1
Dang. Kintner who is 37 and doesn't race DH all that frequently and crushes the DH race by 4.5 seconds....on a single crown forked enduro rig. That unfortunately says something about the state of US women's DH? :/
  • 2 0
I have been wondering why USA doesn't have a Women racer on the World Cup circuit myself!
  • 1 0
@wrightwoodfilms: Great question! Frown There are certainly great women riders in the US. Are they all racing XC and Enduro??
  • 3 0
Jill is also a badass and did pretty well in her wc enduro race this year. I believe she was 2nd against the best in the world? She’s dominated crankworx for a decade and is pretty much the GOAT American women’s gravity rider. I think it says more about how goddam good she is
  • 2 0
Jill is amazing- there were three 18 year olds within spitting distance and two had issues during their race runs. One of them beat Jill at nationals last year and two of them have raced multiple DH world cups. There's a great crop of up and comers on the way.

Glad to see Neko back on top. Hopefully he can take on the next WC with renewed confidence.
  • 5 1
Ya, it seems he has trouble bringing his game face to the WC
  • 5 0
Neko "back on top"? he's been winning or podium-ing in all of the USA races he's done this year, but WC game falls apart.
  • 6 0
@yakimonti: He's saving it for Snowshoe.
  • 10 0
Mitch's clips in the Vitalmtb raw left me reeling
  • 10 1
 Kyle still killin’ it!
  • 6 0
Grotts takes a step back from training and racing and is still faster than just about anyone!
  • 7 0
 No Kate Courtney?
  • 14 0
Val di Sole is next weekend - her #1 priority I'd guess.
  • 11 0
She wasn’t in the states at the beginning of nationals. She didn’t want to travel back, race and then go back to Val Di Sole race and then travel again for the next weekend. A big decision in it was the elevation of winter park. 9100ft ????
  • 2 0
@evaneisenhart: XC racing at 9100ft sounds like cruel and unusual punishment! When was the last time a World Cup XC was held at this altitude?
  • 3 0
@PNdubRider: 2 rounds ago, Andorra (not quite 9k, but 7k plus)
  • 2 0
@PNdubRider: I can only Remember Mammoth Mountain in the 90s.
  • 1 0
@yakimonti: he's talking about US Nat championship
  • 5 1
women's enduro nat'l champ on a Fuji. i bet the other companies hate seeing that.
  • 3 0
 Nice work, Jill and Mitch!
  • 4 0
 Neko! North Cackalack!
  • 1 0
 Cackalakeeeeee!
  • 1 0
 @endlessblockades: slumerican. catfish billy
  • 2 0
Way to go Max! 11th in a stacked pro category, that’s a great result! Super hyped for you bro!!!!!
  • 3 0
 How tall is Cody Kelley?
  • 1 0
@kwapik: Ah, so not massively tall, but still a bit over 6' as I figured... I knew Rude's height, but I guess Mitch isn't that tall either. Every now and again there's a podium that makes me double-take as the head height order isn't the same a the 2-1-3 podium height order. Razz
  • 1 0
@mtbikeaddict: I did the same thing. I had to look again at the step levels.
  • 2 0
What happened to jill in the enduro?
  • 2 0
It appears as she didn’t compete in the enduro.
  • 8 0
She raced DH with her Enduro bike and won
  • 1 0
 @makripper: sick
  • 2 0
5 minute runs?! That’s a proper dh run.
  • 2 0
Psyched about Neko!!! Intense for Life!!

I find it mildly annoying that there isn't one picture of the XC folk.. c'mon pinkbike
  • 1 0
endlessblockades, Fred and the other really old farts raced on the 25th. The results are there.
  • 1 0
Kinter still killing it, that's fun to see. Kyle Straight taking home some hardware is fun too, nice!
  • 8 7
No photos or anything for the XC riders!? Come on now!
  • 1 0

  • 2 0
 Neko won.

  • 1 0
 Samantha Soriano is a badass!
  • 1 0
 Go Davoust!
  • 1 0
 Why no Marco?
  • 5 8
It’s really a Rude awakening he is killing it since he came back
  • 7 4
 .....From a drugs ban
  • 10 3
@nick1957: drugs must have not made that much difference since hes still killing it. This is assuming he wouldnt go straight back to doping after being busted
  • 12 2
@endurogan: Exactly. How quick to forget... This guy's been a force since childhood. He's just a behemoth, period. Are people really gonna say his parents or something were loading him up as a kid, that he's been tainted for his entire career? Ridiculous.
  • 5 4
His ban provided him with a longer time to train and train and train without interruptions from international travel, recovering from races, etc. I'm not surprised that he came back so strong
