287 Bikes had this utilitarian machine to check out - have a look at the custom run-bike that is strapped into the basket too.
If we are going to talk colors, we have to take a look at Twenty6 components out of Montana and their 13 different colors to choose from.
We ran into Catharine Pendrel at the Clif Bar booth, so it was only polite to get her to pose with her Luna Chix's team mates.
I swear this company must be from Chilliwack as I see all kinds of bottle collectors rolling around on gas powered bikes like this one from GasBike.net
Since we are on the topic of water, no one has a more extensive hydration pack lineup than Camelbak. You name it, they have a pack to suit your needs.
Ego-Kits.com are making electric motors that bolt up to almost any bike to assist pedaling on the climbs so that you can enjoy the downs. The weight sits low, so converted bikes reportedly handle well in the turns and steeps.
Night riding season is already eating into weekday rides and Gemini Lights is ready to do battle against the darkness.
Ever had a Pro Bar? If you have then you know that they are like a meal in a wrapper and taste pretty good to boot.
Goal Zero - Portable Power or as they prefer, Solar Power Perfected. Wi - Fun - Tether is the other tag line for this rechargeable power source. All their batteries are Solar rechargeable for when you are out in the back country.
Day one of the indoor and booths were already falling over. Interbike is hard on everyone and everything.
Cove Bikes had a tidy booth this year, but you don't need as much flash when you have earned the right to have rainbow stripes on your decals. The Shocker is a fast machine.

First get on one and than critizise it, please
Endless downhill (until you run out of energy and money for more packs.
I got to ride an ego, and yes it is not a bicycle anymore...
They are very fun and are basically a ultra-light/quite dirt bike.
Just wish the price and weight where half of what they are.
As for where they can ride I know it is different everywhere, but in NY state you can only ride some trails on a motor vehicle if you get a handicap license. Otherwise they are hiker, horse, and bike exclusive.
I have ridden a E-bike and there are heavy as hell, they cost an arm and a leg, and when the battery runs out you have to pedal your ass back to your house with a 45+ lbs bike. when you live in a place where its flat its not too bad but here in NORTH AMERICA there are hills and even with a 3% hill grade 45lbs feels like its a 60+lbs bike
Tons of fun!
The torque is impressive (donuts on the lawn!) and riding up singletrails at that speed is pretty technical. Its also great for marking race courses or marshalls at mtnbike races, instead of the stinky mx bikes.
The centered weight is a big plus in handling and 1000hm of climbing goes a long way.
Nope not a bicycle anymore, yup still pure fun!
What you think we have here in Spain..?? Sand dunes and flat roads ?? My ebike weights 18kg with the battery ...don´t tell me your DH sled weights less !! :no
Go do that shit in the park, the trails there are at least made for it.
That said, I'm most likely complaining about a non-issue, because I've honestly never really seen one of those out here.
It is not a bicycle, but it is a way to get more runs in.
Has anyone had those days where you cannot find anyone to shuttle with...
ELECTRIC ASSIST (get those bikes up the hill)
Stop arguing over a great DH training rig.
The cable on my backpack battery is a spiral and goes out of the bottom of the pack into a plug under the saddle....in case you drop the bike , it release by itself.....several times already tested
Those things rip for folks with short commutes that don't want or don't have the time to pedal for 2 hours every morning to get to work and every night.
Side note... that cove is SICK!
Now to Patrick9-32's question: First, underwater welding is usually done by shielded metal arc welding. More commonly reffered to as 'stick' welding. This is because of the flux cored/flux coated stick is both the filler material and the electrode. So, to directly answer the question. The reason why the diver doesn't get shocked is because he does not complete the ground loop to the welder like jon kind of said. The piece being welded is connected via cable to the machine as a 'ground'. The welding assembly that the diver uses is charged to a very high voltage when in use. But will not ark until a path to its ground is completed via getting close to the piece being welded. The reason why the ark goes this route is because the piece being welded has far far less resistance than the water/diver to ground because it is directly connected via cable. Current always chooses the path of least resistance.
That just looks like three old pallets and some fugly red carpet to me....
All the booths look a bit like they lack some fantasy and effort in my opinion...
Memories, memories...
And I agree with Sean. So what if they are expensive. They are worth every penny. I'm on my second season on the Predators, taken some nasty hits on them, beat them up, and still function better then any other pedal I have ridden.
WHY?
