still super bummed that hopkins, doerfling, rdog, makken and kyle j didn't make it, but i guess 20 riders is more than enough to deal with when they got such short windows of possible riding due to unexpected wheather
Just this second McGazza landed here in Germany right next to my house from his canyon gap overshoot. He says i can fly back with him if i get the tickets.
Your pun is better than mine. I'll admit it. But I live in SLC, UT so if he gives the tickets to you I will trade you one for a ride to this years Redbull Grahammys.
I'm gutted for Mike. There are other guys that I'd love to see in it that were beaten cleanly, but Mike got fucked over by a cameraman. That just sucks.
what a shame for doerfling and hopkins... Cant understand why dirtjump kids like Genon (sorry) are prequalified... just let the big mountain people in and separate Rampage from the FMB Tour!
Normally RedBull puts up the full replay of this events as soon as they are finished. The Worldcup, Joyride, Rampage could all be watched as replays. You can actually still watch the full Rampage stream from two years ago. So keep calm and try not to read the results before you watched the replay. Pinkbike usually does a good job by not telling the winners of the events on the startpage. Still way better to get one day delay and to watch the replay than getting nothing to see because of one or two days of bad weather.
Stoked for Aggy, but kind of feel like the whole situation is bullish*t man. Me and my buddies were out there ready with tickets, and it was our understanding that if weather didn't hold they would take 1st quail runs only and finals would still be on Sunday. Clearly the weather was good enough for riding, yet they pushed back finals anyway screwing us. We can't afford another day off work and another night of hotel, and there are no refunds because they are still 'honoring' the tickets. So they move the event the day before and if you can't make it on the new day too bad? They should have at least let us in today to watch quails or something, totally screwed over us spectators, kind of feel like the whole reason they did it was to get Aggy in at this point... really disappointed, now we can't even watch it together because we all have work during finals...
While I feel your pain, bear in mind that they crowned a champion last year after only one run. I'm sure even Kyle Strait was bummed about that, considering he won. There's still a sting from that happening that I'd imagine the Red Bull folks don't want to revisit. It sucks, but they don't normally deal with this kind of weather for the event.
Herb is a gnar dogg stoked he got in, same with storch, both of those dudes kill it. Bas in there yeew!
Really everyone of these guys should be riding in finals, so bummed about Makken and Howard, styles for miles.
Mate, no Semenuk, McGarry, Lecondagey, Fairclough, Zink, etc... All pre qualified from results in previous years.
Would've been cool if Bernard Kerr got in...
i was keen to see Bourdo this old rocket sad to see Niko Vink DNS and fingers cross for Brendan Fairclough im sure Andrew and Zink will stomp the mountain too

It's hard to believe I rode with and filmed aggy when he was only like 16 back in kamloops. Anyone ever seen the video he's in called In Session? Yeah I was part of that haha. Way to go aggy your killin it
Good call, Warner is a great announcer. I think Tippie would do a descent job too. But almost anyone would be better than the guys at RedBull or NBC... those guys sound like they are announcing Football or something.
Hell yea so stoked he made it!!!! Everyone got around him and he did it!!!!!!!! 2nd year in a row to qualify 1st!!! Good on you aggy!! Come on you can do in the finals too!!!! #aggyisin
I'm still not really getting it. I'm not in anyway saying he doesn't deserve to be in Rampage but there are plenty of other guys that deserve it just as much as far as I can tell.
Freddiehg, you (and seemingly most other people) have missed my point. 99% of comments on here and previous qualifying articles have been something along the lines of OMG!!!!11!!1AGGGY IS DA BESTEST!! GIVE HIM 1ST PLACE NOOWWW!!!
My point was that I don't understand why he's getting so much of the attention. Ok you expect the no 1 qualifier to get a bit more attention than the others but for the most part it just seems like people jumping on the 'we love aggy' bandwagon.

Freeride not dead but they're really trying to kill it.
Bummed for Doerfling and Hopkins
Blame global warming?

Aggy for #1!!!!!!!!!

That.

I'm asking is he going in the Finals, if not well thats lame.
Growing up in the flattest country on earth and now rocking on Rampage. Must count for something!
