We had way too much fun last year shooting our
first fat bike freeride video, so we knew we had to do another one this year. The goal of
2 Fat 2 Furious was to only ride things that would be harder or impossible on a regular bike. From waist-deep powder to drifty sled tracks to packed down jump lines, the boys achieved just that.
Geoff Gulevich, Wade Simmons, and Noah Brousseau got rad on their Blizzards all winter, and we're excited to show everyone the result.
| We were having fun ripping around on the snowmobile tracks, but looking at all the pow chutes surrounding us it was only a matter of time before we were dropping in. We just had to figure out lines that were steep enough to stay afloat! -Wade Simmons |
| I was pretty confident on the 3, it was just hard because I was scared to carve off the lip. -Noah Brousseau |

After that I went out and bought a Borealis Flume(about 2wks ago) I've been on it everyday since the purchase. its really great, amazing to be able to ride in the winter now.....Fernie has lots of snow.
I just can't wait until my 48 year old body goes over the bars (again) when I meet the inevitable immovable object hidden under powder (again)....
Fun!
So I'm hoping that this new BOOST FAT Tire stuff doesn't do to the current market what 650B.
It's fine that 650B came out, what's not okay is that I can't maintain my 26 inch bike with new parts.
I snow board as well, but when its school holidays and the mountain is packed its pretty cool going out back country and literally being the only person out there, and the increased cardio it gives you is a nice added bonus.

he hit's some decent size jumps/drops/gaps/rollers in the snow on it too..
plus he grooms the trails when riding it so skinny tires can ride in the snow too....

Like the last sec where he sticks his tongue out like totally sick bruv!
Topjob RMB Riders.
Btw. anybody knows song?
Go rent a fat bike.
@enduroelite - you are 100% correct. And that was my point. This is just marketing like every other video. My comment was directed toward the people who see this video and say wow, fat bikes are kind of cool. Point is, if you didn't like the idea of fatbikes before, something like this shouldn't change ones mind, because what these guys are doing in the video is unrealistic for most people. Just like the hard tail video I mentioned. If someone wasn't a fan of hard tails, seeing a bunch of pros ripping on them should not really change ones mind.
(never thought id say that)
This snow/sand cliche is getting really tired now
That being said, I am considering another bike that is a bit lighter for long summer rides.
What I really want to know is, did the forks work or break? Because this winter it turns out Pikes don't like cold, mine almost dont move and my colleagues actually broke in the cold.. Srams answer, seals aren't warrantied! Great.
