We've all been there: It's the rock roll you've done a thousand times before, that one off-camber root section, or maybe it's your first time hitting a brand new drop - you crash. Accidentally crashes are part of our sports. EVOC certainly don’t want you to provoke crashes for this competition but they would like to keep you safe on your next adventure by dishing out prizing for the best fail of each month. Here are our picks for July.
#1 - Champery, France
#2 - Stuttgart, Germany
#3 - Suffolk, United Kingdom
#4 - Rotorua, New Zealand
#5 - Darien, USA
#6 - Brea, USA
#7 - Victoria, Canada
#8 - Arrowtown, New Zealand
EVOC will retire to their viewing room to pick their favourite fail for the month, the winner will be announced in the next article and take home some sweet EVOC product.

So close, but it is behind the "Nationwide"
Still haven't got the balls to hit those trails.... because it's in Swindon
Pretty scarry fall though, falling nearly head first still attached to the bike. #4 it is
Seeing accidents, no matter how hilarious or horrifying they are, is a reminder that sh*t DOES hit the fan at some point - and that there's a good reason to wear proper protection. The winning video is a great example of someone protecting his head and forgetting his spine, which is just as fragile. Talking from experience (broken back in 2013), that hot and annoying piece of foam/plastic may very well end up saving you from a wheelchair.
Crazy one on Crank It Up, I always wondered if someone fell in that section, but always figured it would be sliding off the wooden u-turn when wet.
Sometimes I think it would be cool to win the bag or some cool stuff for a Fail. In reality, sometimes just getting out of bed hurts. Keep the bag. I will just buy one when the ground eats up the one I have. Cheers, I love the dead sailor.
you DEFINITELY deserve the win !!!!!!!
#4 for the most ankle breaking
and where the frig was the camera mounted for #6?
i see in "fall of the month" every month people pushing way above the level they can ride.....i use to be like that when i was a kid on the bmx, clearing roof tops, jumping over cars(with no landing ramp) and dropping from insane steep cliffs(with a cheap bmx)... i was in the hospital 2-3 times a week... i pushed way above my bike and my ability, it made me stop riding for 20 years...but i got back on the bike 2years ago (DH no more bmx), only recently i started to do really big stuff with crash free runs and lots of addictive adrenaline(knock on the wood coz' im about to go for a run now)
We'll need to wait for the official postmortem's on a few to determine the winner!
#8 is scary
Best argument for riding clipped in ever.
