@MartinKS: Definitely doesn't flex. Devinci often use a split pivot at the rear axle, so it's a little hard to see from the side views.

@Duderz7: It's hard to tell, but because the chainstay bolts directly to the rocker it leads me to believe that it is still Split Pivot at the rear axel. Other wise the rear suspension would bind if it was a solid rear triangle.

@southoftheborder: based on photos it looks to be a split pivot which means there's a pivot at the rear axle, pretty inconclusive based on these pics so just going by previous iterations.

@southoftheborder: Nope, look closer. Uses the same configuration at the axle as the current generation Wilson. That being said, if the pivot location was in front of the dropout, this would classify the bike as a linkage driven single pivot, as the axle and main pivot are at a fixed dimension.

Looks like a single high pivot to me. The chainstay and seatstay are welded to the dropout which looks to be a single plate.

The comments regarding 'suspension locking up' are correct, as there is no intermediate link like there should be for this to work. Let alone a brace between the seatstays and chainstays.

On the same theme, Gwin Yt from few years back was stunning.

I love those Intense prototypes... reminds me of the days when the beautiful creations from INTENSE and FOES were going head to head in DS and DH. My guess is that they'll sort out the prototypes and them make a carbon version or a cleaner aluminum version.

If you're fast enough to run lightnings on your bike, you know you've made it. Tahnees paint job is awesome. Combining Miami Vice colours with retro rock/metal vibes.

Thirions chrome with subtle french heritage on top of the boxxer crown is classy, although they should have made a white air cap to make it the full tricolore.

But the HSP Wilson is the bomb!! Size of the main pivot bearings on that one is like Danny Hart's balls, big.

Max Hartensen's is on point for flag and the Intense's are all cool but the rest are a bit lacklustre. I guess there was a bit of uncertainty whether the WC would go ahead. Put the Stars n Stripes away Harrison, this is not the year to flash that around, haha.

Tread looks like Magic Mary (large corner knobs lined in blocks of four). If I were to bet my meager savings I would say it's something tricky involving inserts and or sidewall/rim protection. Similar to the Maxxis team only protos that occasionally pop up.

@Bikerdude137: Sorry, my comment was meant for everyone in the above thread, however you were the first to start the the name calling, in the worst possible way. it is quite possible to disagree with BLM and not be a racist. I know many black people (from all over the world) that strongly disagree with their agendas. Most of what Trump does is triggering people like you with his tweets, whereas his actions (with the exception of his handling of corona) have been mostly positive for the American people and the rest of the world, i.e.pulling out of silly wars, getting some sort of order in the middle east and thus slowing the spread of international terrorism. I very much doubt that Clinton would have done these things.

@djm35: the point of the bike is to say that racism is bad, @krumpdancer101 was quite clearly saying that commencal shouldn't be saying that, i then said it was racist, because what he said was written in a way that was clearly meant to be interpreted as racist, later on he said: "yep, ask your black face prime Minister how he's doing, or your first nations people how they're doing" (that implies he was being racist btw)
HE started the name calling not me, he started the: "your president is bad my president is good debate" not me, i was just saying their president is stupid (which is true) in defense
Sure there's a couple things that orange man has done right but the way he acts, what he does, isn't something anybody should want to be controlling your country.
