Full-face-and-no-kneepads is this summer's indication that a completely incompetent crash is forthcoming.
  • 6 0
in completely incompetent voice "anywhere but the face bro......ya"

Why is it that when people who don't know what they're doing make the best friday fails?
  • 6 0
@DaFreerider44: they make the funny crashes into soft mud on a one foot jump. The guys who know what they are doing are having massive wipe outs on big features or at super high speeds, they just make me wince.
  • 2 0
@DaFreerider44: Friday Fails, four years of fails,,.it all happens from that.

That opening fail was a new kind of case that I've never seen before. That's why I'm here-- to see things I've never seen before
  • 3 0
Agreed...not sure if the bar was set really high, or if it's really low with the side casing.
  • 3 0
Ha ha yeah, that's the first sideways case I've ever seen.
  • 4 0
 @danp63: Style first!
  • 4 0
@chickenlassi - that was the super stylie 'whip-case'. The judges give high points for pulling that one off.

The continued prevalence of portrait videos in this Year of our Lord 2020 is unforgivable. We can, and will, do better. For our children's sake.

TikTok is teaching a generation of kids to film vertically
  • 33 0
@Monsterman156: This is the real reason TikTok should be banned.

flag valleytroll (Oct 9, 2020 at 11:35) (Below Threshold)
@Monsterman156: to be fair if most people view it on their phone , having a player that player it vertically as it was filmed would make more sense .
Difficulty is phone vs laptop what’s best doesn’t work for both, don’t be too hard on them
  • 2 0
3.50 Instant karma for filming in portrait mode.
  • 2 5
While is also annoys the shit out of me when people shoot vids in portrait we are vertical creatures. Profile shooting actually makes sense.
  • 3 0
@Dustfarter: The goal is not to show the person, but the environment around them. Horizontally, you can easily have the rider on the right side and jump on the left side, for example. The same shot done vertically would have to be quite zoomed out.

They should have a Friday fails for people watching on fones (with all the portrait videos) and they make a Friday fails for people who watch videos horizontally... if that makes any sense...
  • 5 0
My 85" TV wasn't made to watch stuff in portrait mode
  • 1 0
And PB for accepting the submission. Yay for the enabler. I stopped watching after 3 in a row.
  • 1 0
@Monsterman156: Instagram was to blame first.
  • 1 0
@Molesdigmyjumps: A phone can be rotated sideways when viewing. Ever try doing the same with your laptop/computer screen/TV?
The real failure is the cell phone makers even allowing video to be filmed vertically. The record button shouldn't work until the phone is rotated. Put a message on the screen that says, "Please rotate your phone, numb nuts."

1:38 Did he just sh*t bricks?
  • 4 0
If only he'd had a lead-in to pave the way
  • 5 0
Loose bricks and rebar, its a good safety feature to have around the landing zone.
  • 1 0
@alwaysOTB: At least his friends recognized and showed appreciation for Death or Glory.
  • 5 1
Those high pitched laughs just give me such a headache.
  • 8 1
We'll be sure to tell those people to adjust the tone of their involuntary reaction for you
  • 2 0
Sounds like you don’t have kids eh?
  • 2 0
Is the first half of the video a new addition to the series? "Fail Friday: Iv'e owned a bike for one hour"
  • 4 0
 Nice ending!
  • 1 0
What was your favorite, taking-out the camera or those giggles?
  • 2 0
Mates standing around a jump waiting for the poor schmuck.... it must be Friday Fails.
  • 3 0
The guy @ 1:25 could learn from the guy at 1:40. Know when to hit eject!
  • 2 0
3:43 At least his teeth will be easy to find, embedded in the cedar planks.
  • 3 0
falling off before things get started - gets my vote!
  • 1 0
The crash at 2mins was so utterly brutal; and he was doing so well until then...
  • 1 0
Looks like the Truckee bike park Slopestyle line is going to be giving us a lot of content haha
  • 1 0
Fail#1: how fast are you supposed to go to clear that gap? Escape velocity?
  • 2 0
f*ck, did the skatepark guy mistake the halfpipe for the foam pit??
  • 1 0
That’s what I think too. Ouch.
  • 1 0
The problem is the bike's are too capable. Start with 80's retro to 90's retro then 2000's retro then graduate to now...
  • 1 0
sounds like a lot of women behind the camera laughing at their men "haha, are you ok"
or high pitch men, not sure?
  • 2 0
Geebus move those bricks away from the landing zone...
  • 1 0
0:36 - Now you see me... now you don’t!

 Holy Diver at 0:57 Smile

Ending FF with giggling has a nice touch !
  • 1 0
This week has been brought to you by the nose dive.

Good job these guys are more committed to their women, cos they're really scared of it on the bike!

Best Friday fails to date... imho

I would say today's Friday fails motto is: "just go fast."
  • 1 0
In the first video the guys knew what will happen jajajajaja
  • 1 0
2:02 looks much easier when Remy does it..
  • 1 0
Cringe @0.58 the guy almost all his teeth ... that was scary.
  • 1 0
 1:23 looks painful
  • 2 0
 He definitely should have bailed!
  • 1 0
@joshleb: it takes a crazy amount of mental discipline to know when to hit the eject button, especially when your body is essentially panic locked up.
  • 1 0
 Where is that? @1:25
