*Of course I'm not suggesting anyone here would actually be watching road cycling, it's totally lame.
He speaks English, with an Irish accent
They speak Spanish, with a Colombian accent
You speak English, with an American accent (I dunno, they all just sound the same to me...)
But for Snowshoe we mixed it up a little, we tried Hungarian (very interesting, we might have understood like two words of everything
The French get Ratboy!
Not trying to be a total asshat, but Ric is a clown. If you actually listen to what he’s saying it is worthless crap.
Cedric can get over excited and is annoying at times, but at least he’s the real deal and a legend of the sport.
I’ll take AG and Cedric and cut Ric 10000%
He sounds like a total gaper
Id love to see pink bike commentators do better. Juniors, semis and finals both mens and womens. It’s impossible not to repeat yourself.
Additionally they are clearly commenting for new viewers. Ric explains stuff we all already know. Then they have gwin to comment on things closer to the riders like Eliott used to.
Im defo an outlier because i enjoy the commentary and im happy to have awesome racing on
Whoever came up with the idea of showing the managers mid run instead of the riders, needs to get a foot in the a*s and then get fired.
If that was Rob Warner and his country mens first time winning it would of been unapologetic celebration and great broadcasting (Danny hart etc..) and rightly so ...
Rick claims to be Irish when it suits but I'm not so sure
In general, on GCN+ you can choose from two stream options, one that "includes the live show" and one without. In the beginning of the season I used to choose the live show one, assuming that had _everything_ in it. And indeed it has the "extra" interviews and guest hosts (apparently Moir this time, Pierron in France etc.), BUT it doesn't show the full podium ceremonies with champagnes or (all) top rider interviews, instead cutting to those quest chats during those. I'm assuming the hosted version would be the one they're showing on Eurosport/ Discovery, so maybe they're so used to cutting the celebrations out of the broadcast anyway they didn't think it would even be missed.
They have been cutting into segments at odd times all season. Honestly it just seems like a bunch of amateurs running production. Ronan has been in the podium in snowshoe before, and Red Bull showed the whole thing champagne and all.
If it wasn't for LSD, EDBULL, MOI MOI and Fox's the DH World Cup coverage would be nearly non exsistant
They are top notch on you tube without a doubt but that’s a total different genre
she'd be an asset for Specialized gravity as they would instantly go to the top in the womans.
Even when you're in the pits at a race you can't get info so good luck trying to find out online!

Who has enough money to sign Vali?
Santa, commencal, spec, trek ….
Santa and commencal have Nina and cami - would sound crazy to me to sign Vali too.
Atherton would be great and a good fit - but I doubt that they have the cash for Vali.
So, if she’s really leaving trek … I’d put my money on spec. they’re in desperate need for a woman who can win, and they got the cash. And it would be öhlins, which would put her „leaving SRAM/RS“ comment in perspective.
Pay wall aside ( I watched for free on dodgy IPTV) the coverage was really good

Buzzing all day after that. DH was in danger of dying out here a few years ago but this will surely inspire the next generation.
“Yeah. Pakistani Drill Press!”
When Pierron crashed at the beginning of the season, there was also a Tacky Chan ad with him...
Coincidence ? I think not...
Enough stupid rambling, I think they should do semi on fatike, or at least hardtail, that would be fun to watch.
I was taking the piss at this kind of leap in thought process, and conspiracy theories, as implied by "stupid rambling".
Not the best ad for that tire though xD
No doubt marine is Fast at the Moment though.
Racers want to win when everyone is going their absolute fastest....any real racer will tell you that, winning is winning yes but if you want to be the best then you want to beat the best at their fastest.
